Too Small To Flail

The national media does a great job of telling the epic tales of woe, the breaches that impact the names you know, the stores you shop, and the services you use. If you haven’t been affected by a breach in the last several years, you’re either a Luddite (which makes it very curious that you would be reading this) or you simply not checked if your email address was pwned. It probably was. In most of those cases, it was the big names that failed to protect your data. But what happens when smaller organizations—maybe the ones about the size of yours—get hit?

A recent report found that about 10% of affected small businesses close up shop, 25% file bankruptcy, and almost 40% suffer a significant financial loss. The data comes from organizations with fewer than 500 employees, and more details can be found here. Given the increasing probability of cyberattacks, the risk becomes an important part of any business plan. After all, if you’re not anticipating, underwriting, and preparing for a breach in some form or fashion, statistically you might save time and money by closing up shop.

But that’s not what you want to do. You want to build your business and save the world, and we want to help. ICS can put fresh eyes on your network and data, propelling both into your successful future safely and predictably.
