You run a tight ship. You’re like the Admiral Nimitz of the IT space. You work closely with management to maximize resources. You know the projects already on the books for 2016, and you’re fighting for every penny, trying to keep the c-suite focused on the future, aware of the dangers that lurk in the ether and the need to guard against them. They just won’t listen to reason!
A new study gives the folks upstairs half a million reasons to take the threat of a security breach seriously. Drawing from responses from 5500 companies across 26 countries, Kaspersky and B2B International peg the cost of a breach at a cool $551,000. Most of the money goes to hiring IT consultants and risk management consultants and, of course, lawyers.
Walk Toward the Light
The study also suggests that companies are more inclined than before to engage IT brainpower in preventative measures, so there’s hope that your voice will be heard. When they hear you, and characteristically assume that the idea was theirs, you need to have the right people standing by, ready to take your call and steady your ship.
ICS is chock full of the right people. We have white hats for pen testing and hard hats for network design and installation. We even have hard core nerds in propeller hats. We’re not exactly sure what they do, but they’re smart as a whip and eager to protect your network and data. We recruit talent as found, not as needed, and we can even do that for you. Propeller hats sold separately.
Call today, because you can’t spell security with ICS. Even our nerds can’t do that.
