ICS Awarded Integration Support Contract with US Air Force

Integrated Computer Solutions, Inc. (ICS) announced today that it has been awarded a contract with AAC Inc. to support the United States Air Force Capabilities Integration Environment (CIE). Under the multi-million dollar, multi-year contract, ICS will provide development, testing and integration support to Air Force applications prior to fielding into production.

CIE provides enterprise-wide development, certification, testing and evaluation solutions for all software designed and released for operational use in standard Air Force operating environments and the Air Force Global Combat Support System (GCSS-AF). The enterprise-class environment consists of over 750 physical servers, 1200 logical servers, 800 pieces of physical hardware, 500 terabytes of disk storage, and supports more than 1100 developers.

“We are excited to be working with AAC in support of the Air Force and CIE mission,” said Steve Goldsby, CEO of ICS. “This contract expands the breadth and depth of our longstanding history of service to the United States Department of Defense and provides us the opportunity to innovate in new areas,” Goldsby said.

The contract is expected to increase operational efficiencies in the CIE while decreasing costs to the government through innovative service, solutions and support.

ICS is in its 15th year of providing state and federal agencies, including the United States Department of Defense, with military-grade IT security services and products, including: datacenter operations, global network operations, application maintenance and support, information assurance, technical security and desktop seat management.
