ICS held a remarkable food drive this year, setting a new standard for corporate community involvement. Engaging multiple teams across the corporation, including the “Trouble Tickets,” “Souper Heroes,” “Don’t Go Bacon My Heart,” and “What’s Cookin’.” The teams worked diligently to collect non-perishable food items, transforming the event into a spirited and friendly competition. The level of engagement from all these teams was truly extraordinary, demonstrating a unified commitment to positively impacting our employees’ communities.
The drive achieved a milestone with the collection of an impressive 1322 pounds of food! There was a remarkable increase in donations compared to the previous year. With their outstanding effort, the “Trouble Tickets” team managed to collect 634 pounds of food. ICS further enhanced this accomplishment by a generous pledge to donate $10 for every pound collected by the winning team up to $5,000, culminating in a substantial contribution to the community. This meant that the “Trouble Tickets” delivered a $5,000 check in addition to the 634 pounds of food to Christ House Food Pantry.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to every participant from all the teams for their selfless service and dedication. The increase in donations this year is a testament to the growing compassion and engagement within the ICS community. Your contributions have delivered vital aid to those in need and established a new standard for corporate social responsibility and community engagement at ICS.
