Integrated Computer Solutions, Inc. Forge.Mil and the Quality Management group at ICS appraised at Level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)®

Integrated Computer Solutions, Inc. (ICS), a Veteran-owned business which serves as a premier IT services, development and cyber-security consultancy to the US Department of Defense, State Agencies and commercial enterprises, today announced that it has been appraised at Level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)®.

CMMI® is a capability improvement approach that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. An appraisal at maturity level 3 indicates the organization is performing at a “defined” level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for maturity level 3, is established and improved over time.

“ICS places a continued focus on delivering consistent quality development solutions to our clients to ensure we meet every project on time and on budget,” said Steve Goldsby, CEO of ICS. “We are proud to be a trusted partner to DISA and the Forge.mil Community. This project and the appraisal level is the result of our 18-year legacy of expanding our superior service capabilities within DISA’s enterprise. Our ability to maintain commitment and focus by offering innovative solutions while leveraging our technology, engineering solutions and mission knowledge, is vital to supporting the agency’s mission,” Goldsby said.

The CMMI® Institute, a subsidiary of Carnegie Mellon University, is dedicated to elevating organizational performance through best-in-class solutions to real-world challenges. The Institute is the home of the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) ® for Development, Services, and Acquisition; the People Capability Maturity Model; and the Data Management Maturity Model (DMM)SM, which are capability improvement models that create high-performance, high-maturity cultures. The models are used in thousands of organizations worldwide to deliver business results that serve as differentiators in the global market.
