Veterans Day - Remembering All Who Served
** This is the thank you that I sent to all of our ICS team members this year.  I thought it worthy to share with *all* of our Veteran team members.  I was reminded that I forgot about our newest service members and Veteran’s — Space Force Guardian’s.  I’ll fix that next year.  Thank you for your service!  -Steve

Team,

This year I hope you’ll join me in lifting up the veterans
in our communities.  Millions of American military veterans have honored
us with their service.  It brings me a great sense of pride that many ICS
team members are veterans.  Thank you for your service!.

This week, we set aside a special day to honor them and
thank them for all they have done.  Let us not forget to honor the over
one million sailors, soldiers, marines, airmen and coast guardsmen that have
sacrificed their lives for this great country.  And let us not forget
those who have survived while suffering lost limbs, mental anguish and broken
families as a result of their service.

As an Air Force veteran, I have seen and experienced
firsthand the demands and rewards of military service.  Frequent and
extended periods of separation from families, challenging compensation levels
and demanding work schedules are difficult for everyone – especially our veterans.
Despite these challenges, I saw the deep patriotism, pride, and commitment
these men and women have made to protect our freedom.  On Veterans Day, we
honor and thank our veteran colleagues, clients, friends, and family members
for their dedicated service to our nation.

ICS has long and deep ties to the US armed
services.   We have continuously served the U.S. Military for over 25
years.  Today, we are recognized as an exceptional company to work for by
our employees, customers, partners and even our competitors.  This
recognition is largely because we are a company committed to serving those
who serve
— through our community support to organizations such as AFCEA,
Blue Skies, Wounded Warrior, Paralyzed Veterans of America and others, but also
through our commitment to hiring Veterans first whenever possible.
In my experience, veterans show up early, with a good attitude, ready to work
every day — no matter how hard the mission might be.

Many of our ICS family have served in the military, and in
the case of Guard and Reserve, choose to serve still.  I want to extend my
personal thanks to you all for your courage and service to our country.
The price of freedom is paid for because of the courage of those who are
willing to fight for what they believe in. The greatness of America is founded
in the bravery and heroism of men and women who stand strong in the face of
oppression and conflict.  You ignite the enduring spirit of our nation and
strengthen the unity of the American people with your commitment to freedom,
justice and democracy.

So, this Veteran’s Day, please take time to thank a Veteran
for his or her service.  And if you are a veteran, please accept my
personal thanks for your service to our great country.

Be safe, and have a great Veteran’s Day!

Steve
